6/8/2023 0 Comments Invisible by Pete Hautman![]() ![]() I could really imagine meeting someone like Andy or Doug in the real world. One thing I liked about this book was the characters, and how believable they were. Also, it captured the essence of true friendship, because Andy and Doug would do almost anything in the world for each other. My favorite part of this book was that it was not like most books I’ve read it was creepy and eerie. This book has to be one of my favorite books of this year, perhaps even altogether. Invisible is a deep Psychological thriller with harsh twists and turns that will keep you up late at night reading. Andy and Doug are free with each other they talk about everything… well almost everything except for what happened at a place called Tuttle, years ago. In reality, Andy and Doug are on opposite side of the social spectrum, but they seem to make it work. He is someone who could have any girl in the school. ![]() Andy is popular and on the football team. ![]() The only other part of Doug’s life is his best friend, Andy Morrow. Almost all of Doug’s life is building his mind-numbing and elaborate model railroad systems in his basement. This book is about Doug Hanson a boy who is considered a freak and a “worm” by everyone in his school. ![]() I never really imagined things like this until after I read the book Invisible by Pete Hautman. Imagine standing in front of a bonfire with your best friend next to you imagine seeing the flames bouncing around in their pupils. ![]()
